Failure on sending user activation

Hi Community, I have just installed the M.App Enterprise in a Windows Server 2012R2 . After have created an intarface in the studio, I got failure when trying to create a new user and send it for activation. My web.config session is similar to this:

<mailSettings>
<smtp from="hexagon.pds@gmail.com">
<network host="smtp.gmail.com" port="465" userName="dmain\mywindowsaccount" password="password of my windows account" enableSsl="true" />
</smtp>
</mailSettings>

Is it correct? What would you suggest.

Tks

Hi Ricardo,

I noticed you are attempting to use GMail as the email server. While GMail can be used in M.App Enterprise as the mail server however there is some changes needed to web.config to specify deliverMethod and Port, etc.

Here is an example:

<mailSettings>
<smtp from="" deliveryMethod="Network">
<network defaultCredentials="false" host="smtp.gmail.com" port="587" password="YOURPASSWORD" userName="YOURUSERNAME" enableSsl="true" />
 </smtp>
</mailSettings>

There is more information here
