incorporating the HTML Chart (or Widget) in M.App Enterprise Feature Analyzer

Good Day,

Has anyone ever incorporated the HTML Chart into the M.App Enterprise's Feature Analyzer? How can i incorporate it ? Bear in mind i am no developer.

Kind Regards

Re: incorporating the HTML Chart (or Widget) in M.App Enterprise Feature Analyzer

Hi Siya,

The HTML Display widget can be added to an Analyzer View just like any other chart using the 'Additional Charts' tab on the Configuration.

When the HTML Display chart is chosen there will be button to 'Edit' the configuration. Within that area there are several examples that can be inserted. These can help provide a starting point, but some HTML knowledge will be beneficial when configuring a HTML Display widget/chart.

Re: incorporating the HTML Chart (or Widget) in M.App Enterprise Feature Analyzer

Hi Stephen ,

Regarding the matter below, I'm not quite sure if we are on the same page  in M.App enterprise(Feature Analyzer view ) on the Additional Chart theres no HTML chart like you  will find it on the Smart M.App Feature Analyzer.

Smart M.App - Feature Analyzer-Additional Charts Tab.png

Figure A : Analyzer view for Smart M.App (it has an HTML Chart natively)

M.App Enterprise - Feature Analyzer -Additional Chart.png

Figure B : Analyzer view for Smart M.App (it doesn’t  have a HTML Chart natively)

I have configured an html chart on the Smart M.App(In b2b). I am just not sure if either I am not putting my question correctly or I am missing some information.

Kind Regards

Siya

Re: incorporating the HTML Chart (or Widget) in M.App Enterprise Feature Analyzer

Hi Siya,

My apologies for the confusion. You are correct. The HTML display widget is not available currently. HTML can be used in Number Display currently and I believe you are aware of that functionality/configuration.

I was unknowingly taking my example from a M.App Enterprise (MAE) installation that had a beta version of Analyzer Views applied. As such, the functionality of the HTML display chart/widget will be included in the next official MAE update/release. For now this functionality could be mimicked from the M.App Editor Studio and yes in this case it would be necessary to have HTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge to implement.

Sorry for the confusion.

Re: incorporating the HTML Chart (or Widget) in M.App Enterprise Feature Analyzer

Hi Siya,

For custom chart you will need to follow the API and use the Custom Panel in the Browser M.App. There are plenty of examples in the Studio on the left side under Code Examples.
The HTML display chart functionality coming in the next update/release will eliminate the need to use the Custom Panel and will allow users to create the HTML display chart in M.App Enterprise in the same manner as they did in the Smart M.Apps version.
