Input vector layer

Hi !

I am a new of spatial modeler.

I have a soil typer layer. I would like to select the specifict soil types from soil type layer. Can you tell me which operators are used?

Best Regards

Re: Input vector layer

Please take a look at the Features category of Operators. You'll need Features Input to ingest the vector source and then Filter by Attributes should allow you to pick the particular soil types.

Re: Input vector layer

Hi Ian,

Thank you for your reply.

I used Features Input and Filter by Attributes operators, but it shows the error.

Please see my diagram bellow.

Note: TEXT_SURF is a column name in my shapefile that stors soil surface texture.

Thanks

Re: Input vector layer

That looks like it should work. What's the error that's shown?

Re: Input vector layer

Hi Ian,

Sorry for very late to reply.

I got this error:

ERROR: #100 from GeographicCRS::Initialize
ERROR: GeodeticDatum::GeodeticDatum failed
ERROR: #52 from GeodeticDatum::GeodeticDatum
ERROR: Invalid datum name
HexGeo:Smiley FrustratedpatialModeler:Smiley Surprisedperator::Execute failed
HexGeo:Smiley FrustratedpatialModeler:Smiley Surprisedperator::Execute failed
HexGeo:Smiley FrustratedpatialModeler:Smiley Surprisedperator::Execute failed
HexGeo:Smiley FrustratedpatialModeler:Smiley Surprisedperator:Smiley FrustratedetErrorMessage failed
Spatial Model failed in Stack Layers.  The error was "HexGeo:Smiley FrustratedpatialModelerRaster::RasterUtils::BoxIntersection failed
Images do not Intersect.".

I am thinking, it is because of datum error. Then I tried to reproject in Erdas Imagine. I got this message:

reproject1.JPG
I am wondering, because of Datum is undefined, that is why my model cannot run. Do you have any idea what is the problem? and How to fix it?

Best Regards,
Siline

Re: Input vector layer

Hi Siline,

If your input data has an undefined datum (or incomplete definitions of projection parameters in general)  you will certainly have problems attempting to reproject the data. Take a look at the data in the Image Metadata (ImageInfo) tool and see what it says for the projection parameters. If they are incomplete you can correct them in that tool as well.

Cheers

Ian
