Functional attribute: polygon to points

Dear all,

for a classification workflow, I would like to draw polygons (for training areas) for classify a raster (with machine learning operators). Is it available in the Functional Attribute Operator some function that creates points from a polygon? (not only center point but a lot of points inside that polygon). It' only an idea:

Thank you very much for your support

Re: Functional attribute: polygon to points

Hello Giuseppe,

I was recently working on the model right for the same purpose. The function you are looking for is DOTDENSITY, it will create random points inside of a polygon. But it will create a collection of points, so in addition, you will need to use GEOMETRIES function to extract those points from a collection.

An example:

Ask and ye shall receive (in Update 2):

(Or you can use the GFA approach suggested by Marina right now)
