Using multiple input directories in batch

Hi. I've a model where the input is a directory. It then hunts out image files and stacks them (S2 import in fact). I'd like to run this in batch with multiple directories as input, but the batch tool doesn't allow a directory as a file input. Is there a way around this? Ta, Johnnie

Re: Using multiple input directories in batch

Hi Johnnie,

Have you tried to create a Batch List File (*.bls) and load it to the Batch Command Editor?

The file content would look something like below:

Directory	Output
"d:/test/!data/unit1/"	d:/2community/tries/output/test_1.img
"d:/test/!data/unit2/"	d:/2community/tries/output/test_2.img
"d:/test/!data/unit3/"	d:/2community/tries/output/test_3.img

When you load it to the Batch Command Editor, activate Show Full Pathname option to see the directory. You can also provide (or modify) the directory manually in the row.

Re: Using multiple input directories in batch

Hiya,

Thanks for that; it worked. It is a bit of a pain to set up the bcf with multiple variables and it's a shame that you can't just add directories as you can files. I'll put that in as a suggestion.

Cheers,
