Running spatial models with IMAGINE Essentials

Question

How does a user with an IMAGINE Essentials (or IMAGINE Advantage) license run spatial models?

Answer

Spatial models can be created with the ERDAS IMAGINE Spatial Model Editor which requires an IMAGINE Professional license. However Spatial Models can be executed from clients with IMAGINE Essentials or IMAGINE Advantage licenses using any of the following methods:

1. From Toolbox tab > Spatial Model Editor > Launch Spatial Model

launch SM.png

2. Create a custom button for Launch Spatial Model

3. Add a ShoeBox File for the .GMDX, then right-click > Launch Spatial Model

Helpful Hint: All of the required model element inputs must be available for the model to run. Use Port Input operators in the model that query for input model elements (.img, .shp, .aoi, etc.) when launching the model.

Hello everybody!

Are there some licensing limitations on the category of operators that can be launched with IMAGINE Essentials?

For example, If I create a model with Photogrammetry operators, can I launch it using Imagine Essentials?

And for Point Clouds operators?

Thank you very much
