This Spatial Model emulates the functionality provided by the IMAGINE GeoPDF Publisher add-on module by rendering a Map Composition or single Multispectral image to a single-layer Geospatial PDF document.
Inputs to the Model can be either a Map Composition (*.map) or an athematic (continuous) multispectral image.
In the case of a Map Composition, the whole map (including any styled overlays) will be rendered to a single RGB representation using the provided Dots Per Unit (DPU) value and the paper size of the Map Composition prior to converting to the Geospatial PDF format. Any LUT stretches saved with the Map Composition will also be used to create the RGB.
In the case of an input image the native resolution of the input image (and entire extent) is converted into the Geospatial PDF.
The model also attempts to stretch input images to the 8-bit range expected by the Geospatial PDF format by using either a LUT saved with the input image bands, or in the absence of a saved LUT applies a 2.5% / 99% stretch on the data if it has a dynamic range larger than 8bit, or applies a No Stretch otherwise (see Stretch Sub-models below).
If converting a Panchromatic (single band) athematic image you could specify the same band to be sent to the Red, Green and Blue Band inputs. Or the model could be modified to only take a single band. Similar changes would be required for a Thematic input.
Input Data: Input filename can be a Map Composition (*.map) or a single Multispectral image file.
Geospatial PDF Filename: Name of the output Geospatial PDF file to be produced.
Red Band: Enter the band number from the input image to be used as the red band of a True color (RGB) color composite Ignored in the input was a Map Composition.
Green Band: Enter the band number from the input image to be used as the green band of a True color (RGB) color composite Ignored in the input was a Map Composition.
Blue Band: Enter the band number from the input image to be used as the blue band of a True color (RGB) color composite Ignored in the input was a Map Composition.
DPU for Rendering: Enter a number, in the units used by the input Map Composition page size, to be used as the Dots per Unit when rendering the Map Composition contents to a single RGB image to be exported to Geospatial PDF. Ignored if the input was an image file.
Compression Type: Enter the Compression type to be used by the Geospatial PDF output file (NONE, JPEG or DEFLATE)
JPEG Quality: Enter the quality parameter (0 to 100) to be used if JPEG compression was selected. Ignored if the Compression Type was not JPEG.
