Spatial Recipes - How to differentiate change in change detection analysis

Hey,

I am currently working on change detection between two NDVI images from different years, the model currently is running perfectly. However, i need to differentiate the change ( either increase or decrease) instead of of generally having a change raster map.

How do i go about this?

Also, kindly find the model attached.

Re: Spatial Recipes - How to differentiate change in change detection analysis

Dear Lilly,

Attached is your spatial model with some improvements.

  • It checks now on both ndvi outputs whether the value is between 0.4 and 0.8. (if true the value = 1)
  • It checks whether the output of the above check  is smaller or bigger then the opposite image, and classify it as 1 (Decrease) or 2 (Increase).
  • The outcome is a thematic layer with red = descreas and green = increase.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Wim
