After setting up the WFS configuration we add the <saveType> tag and equal the value to WFS-T. Provided the WFS is using a read/write database this should have enabled the transacational capability and allowed for Inserts in MMW to this WFS. Despite this we are unable to Insert features into this WFS-T as it seems to behave as though it is still read-only WFS. How can we enable to read-write WFS or WFS-T?
As per the Mobile MapWorks documentation ( 'How to Configure a Read-Write Vector layer' https://hexagongeospatial.fluidtopics.net/book#!book;uri=386d85464fb5ef085980c94a4b6d6cdc;breadcrumb...) it is not enough to only add the <saveType> WFS-T to a WFS and it becomes a WFS-T. In conjunction with this element must also be the <new></new> tag ,that may or may not contain <attribute> tag, to allow for feature Inserts. Without this <new> tag the WFS features will display and even though <saveType> is WFS-T the Insert button will not be present to add features and thus it is not yet effectively a WFS-T.
