Question

When using an EPSG why is there the error in the legend "The data is not available in the current coordinate system" for a WebMap Publisher Feature when I am creating a WebMap Publisher Portal?

Answer

WebMap Publisher portal uses a WebMap Publisher Service Source and a WebMap Publisher Service to server up the features defined in the WebMap Publisher service source.

Even though the WebMap Publisher Service Source is published in an EPSG that displays perfectly in GeoMedia, the EPSG code may not be available to the WebMap Publisher Service.

For a standalone WebMap Publisher Service defined in the Adminconsole, copy the EPSGXXXX.csf file to

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hexagon\Services\Instances\{WebMap_Publisher_Service}\CSF directory

For a WebMap Publisher Portal it will contain it's own WebMap Publisher service so the EPSGXXXX.csf should be copied to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hexagon\Services\Instances\{WebMap_Publisher_Portal}\WMPS\CSF

directory.

All the caches and service need to be restarted for the change to take place. (webmapreset.bat)
