When generating a print why is it that there is not a legend pictogram in the print output for redlining and/or Open Street Map layer?
User has setup printing in the Geospatial Portal window the map they would like to print. When generating the print everything works well except the redlining layer (and/or Open Street Map layer) legend entry does not print the symbology icon. This same layer prints it's features in the map from fine. Why then is the symbol not present?
The legend in print service only will display legend symbols for legend items that have pictogram on the service side. The personal data source (redline layer) does not. Some types of services serve urls for legend pictograms: for example you can find LegendURL in the capabilities of WMS (like http://www.ign.es/wms-inspire/ign-base/leyendas/ignbase_todo.png)
None of the styles created by user in Portal (PSS, WFS etc.) will display in printing legend control due to this technical limitation.
