For updating the preprocessed tiles of a WMTS we have written a service that defines the bounding box of the WMTS where changes have been made. By that only the a limited number of tiles must be preprocessed through the CacheFillerServiceManager. This service has always been working fine. Recently, after the processing of the corresponding time, the CacheFillerService And/or CacheFillerServiceManager is crashing.
I do not understand all details of the log-file thats why I thought to ask the communities for Inputs of what the error message could be relying on.
AddTilesToCache(). Error communicating with cache filler.: An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://localhost:8000/CacheFillerService_Oberrieden_AV95/CacheFillerService. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details. : System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException
FATAL Intergraph.GeoMedia.Web.SDI.Tools.CacheFillerService.CacheFillerService [(null)] - Unhandled Exception System.Runtime.InteropServices.ExternalException (0x80004005): A generic error occurred in GDI+.
In the Event Viewer we can see two errors- an application Error and a .NET Error where the CacheFillerManager is crashing.
I'd be lucky to hear some inputs!

Can you get a map when trying this WMS GetMap requests via web browser (just before the CacheFiller crash)?

Does it crash always or just intermittently?
This error should be certainly better handler by the service but it may appear because of disparate reasons, e.g.:
It would probably need deeper investigation, I suggest you to open a support ticket if it happens too often.
