Error creating Geospatial Portal Instance

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I'm using Geomedia Webmap 2015 (Patch 6) and suddenly I have this error (in log file) every time I try to create a new instance of Geospatial Portal:

Can you help me please? Thanks

Re: Error creating Geospatial Portal Instance

What do you mean by saying "suddenly"? Has this issue started to occur after you installed the patch? Did you do something other to the machine's configuration that caused it?

You might want to check the AdministratorFiles\bin subfolder of the Geospatial Portal template (by default in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hexagon\Services\Templates\Geospatial Portal) for the existence of the lonely binary named Intergraph.AdministrationConsole.GeospatialPortal.GenerateMachineKeysCommand.dll.

Other than that, as you can see, there's not much substance in the logged exception. It might be possible that enabling debug level logging of the Administration Console Service and looking at some earlier logged entries could provide more information as to which exact command couldn't initialize.

Re: Error creating Geospatial Portal Instance

Hi,

I have recreated the AdminConsole and it worked.

Thanks.
