SDI 16.5 CSW returns no records

Hello,

I set up a new server with the 2018 server products (GWM Essentials, Geospatial SDI) and created a new CSW. I configured the CSW to connect to an already existing CSW Oracle database.

Unfortunately the CSW does not return any records. At the same time a CSW on an older product successfully returns results using the same CSW database user.

http://<host>/CSW/Service.svc/get?REQUEST=GetRecords&SERVICE=CSW&VERSION=2.0.2&typenames=csw:Record,gmd:MD_Metadata&ResultType=results&namespace=xmlns(csw=http://www.opengis.net/cat/csw/2.0.2),xmlns(gmd=http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmd)

returns

<GetRecordsResponse xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.opengis.net/cat/csw/2.0.2 http://schemas.opengis.net/csw/2.0.2/CSW-discovery.xsd"><SearchStatus/><SearchResults numberOfRecordsMatched="0" numberOfRecordsReturned="0" nextRecord="0"/></GetRecordsResponse>

Also using the GetRecordById Request does not return the requested record even though the record ID is listed in the database. The same request returns a record when using an older CSW version.

Any ideas? Has anyone successfully set up a CSW with the new SDI version and got some records returned? Am I missing something (configuration etc...)?

Thanks and kind regards,

Sven

Re: SDI 16.5 CSW returns no records

Just a small update for the record and for whom it may concern:

This was indeed a configuration problem, as there were some custom metadata profiles in the CSW databse which at first I didn't provide in the new systems catalogue/1.2 directory.

Regards,

Sven
